"All My Heart" Cake

This pretty cake design is something I fell in love with after seeing it in a blog tutorial by My Cake School for their "100 Hearts Cake" and I had to, had to, make it for Valentine's Day.  I started with a square, four layer chocolate cake measuring 5x5x5, and covered it in creamy vanilla buttercream.  And then just started piping lots and lots of hearts! For ideas on various tips to use for piping the hearts, hop on over to their post to see how they did theirs.  I loved how it turned out.

After I was finished, I thought, what am I going to do with this cake?  I was already making a chocolate pie for our own Valentine's dessert, and we didn't need a cake, too.  But fortunately, I found someone at work who was thrilled with the idea of giving his wife this cake, so he was happy to take it off my hands, making me very happy that someone would get to enjoy it.
